Tutorial: Shortcut Keys

In this tutorial, we will see how you can use or create shortcut keys in a Grid application.

1 – We must create a new Grid application

2 – In the “Toolbar” Menu, we must enable the option “Use shortkeys”. In this example, we are using Scriptcase’s standard key template.

SC_DefaultHotkeys Template:

3 – It is possible to add new keyboard commands to this application using the “+” button.

4 – Select the action to be performed.

5 – Click the button in the “KEYS” column to add a keyboard command.

6 – On the dark screen, press the desired keys on the keyboard.

7 – Check if the command corresponds to the one typed, and then click on the “+” button on the same line.

8 – Save your changes and run the application
