Tutorial: Fields Digital Signature, Select2, Switch and Slider

This example shows the form fields added in Scriptcase version 9.2: Digital Signature, Classification, Select2, and Switch / Slider

1. Digital Signature

This type of field allows the user to type in italicized using a pen or digital mouse.

a) In a form or control application, click to add a new field or click to edit an existing field.

b) In the “Data type” option, change it to the “Signature” type

2. Rating

type field This type of field allows the user to perform evaluations/classifications using icons, usually of stars, online.

a) In a form or control application, click to add a new field or click to edit an existing field.

b) In the “Data type” option, change it to the “Classification” type.

c) Next, we must inform the “Number of icons” and the images that will be used to represent the “Icon enabled” and the “Icon disabled“.

3. Select2

type field This type of field is an improvement in the functionality of the Select and AutoComplete fields.

a) In a Form, Filter or Control application, click to add a new field or click to edit an existing field.

b) The “Select2” option is available for fields with “Type of text” Select, Number-Autocomplete and Text-Autocomplete

c) By selecting “Select2“, you can activate the function “Show search area Select2“, which adds an Autocomplete filter to the text box.

4. Switch

This type of field is an improvement in the functionality of the Radio and Checkbox fields.

a) In a Form, Filter or Control application, click to add a new field or click to edit an existing field.

b) Select the “Data type” Radio or checkbox.

c) It is possible to activate the “Activate Switch type IOS” function, which uses a different and modern style for the field.

5. Slider

This type of field is new functionality available for numeric fields.

a) In a form or control application, click to add a new field or click to edit an existing one.

b) Select the “Data Type” Integer.

c) Activate the “Use slider” functionality, and enter the “Width” and the “Slider increment“.

d) Even in the field edition, go to Value format and set the “Maximum value“.
